What actually changes the cost of a film set?
There is no reliable fixed square-foot rate for a finished film set. Two sets with the same floor area can have completely different budgets because their height, scenic detail, finish quality, structural needs, props, transport and installation conditions are different.

Do you provide only set construction, or design as well?
Both. We can take a project from production design through fabrication and dressing, or execute from an already approved design package when the information is sufficient for build.
Can Set Craft build from agency or production-house drawings?
Yes. We review the drawings, site conditions, finish references and schedule first, then flag any practical changes needed for fabrication, installation or camera use before costing.
Do you work only in Mumbai?
Set Craft is Mumbai based and works on projects across India. Logistics, local crews, transport and installation planning depend on the project location and schedule.
Do you quote film sets by square foot?
Square-foot rates can help with very early estimating, but a final set-build quote should be based on drawings, finish level, height, props, structural requirements, access, transport and installation conditions.
What should I send for a first estimate?
Send the design reference or drawings, approximate dimensions, shoot location, install window, shoot date, number of shoot days and an indicative budget if available.
