INTRODUCTION

The Vivo V60 Pro wedding campaign required a believable North Indian wedding environment that felt authentic, celebratory, and visually cinematic. Rather than creating a decorative event setup, the objective was to build a complete living wedding ecosystem where every frame could support storytelling.

The production design focused on transforming an existing villa into a vibrant wedding home through layered textiles, decorative lighting, floral accents, and spatial styling. Every room was treated as a narrative space capable of supporting different moments within the film.

Design Concept

The design language was inspired by traditional North Indian family weddings where homes are temporarily transformed into festive environments. The goal was to create warmth, celebration, and emotional familiarity while maintaining the visual sophistication expected from a premium advertising campaign.

Instead of relying on large decorative structures, the production design used fabric installations, ambient lighting, floral details, and carefully selected props to create depth throughout the location.

Exterior Transformation

The exterior facade became the audience’s first introduction to the wedding environment. Multiple layers of saffron, red, and yellow drapery were installed to establish a festive identity before entering the house.

Floral arrangements, decorative lighting, and fabric treatments helped transform the villa into a believable wedding destination while preserving the architecture of the location.

Courtyard & Family Gathering Space

The central gathering area acted as the emotional heart of the wedding environment. This space needed to accommodate family interactions, celebrations, and key narrative moments.

Warm lighting, colorful drapery, and festive textures helped create an inviting atmosphere that felt rich without appearing overly decorative. The layered background treatments also provided visual depth for cinematography.

Bridal Room Styling

The bridal room was designed as a softer and more intimate environment within the wedding narrative. Floral installations, decorative lights, mirrors, and layered fabrics created a space that felt personal while remaining visually cinematic.

The objective was to create a room capable of supporting close-up performance shots while maintaining continuity with the overall wedding palette.

Wedding Bedroom Environment

The wedding bedroom was treated as a feature set within the larger location. Fabric canopies, integrated fairy lighting, floral borders, and warm ambient illumination helped establish a romantic atmosphere suitable for key storytelling moments.

The design intentionally avoided excessive ornamentation and instead focused on texture, light, and layered visual depth.

Material & Color Strategy

The color palette was built around traditional wedding tones:

  • Marigold Yellow
  • Vermillion Red
  • Saffron Orange
  • Soft Gold
  • Ivory

These colors were repeated throughout the location to create visual continuity while allowing different rooms to maintain their own character.

Fabric became the primary design material due to its ability to quickly transform architecture while remaining practical for film production.

Behind The Scenes

Creating a believable wedding environment required extensive coordination between art direction, set dressing, lighting, fabrication, and production teams.

The BTS images reveal how existing architectural spaces were transformed through strategic interventions rather than large-scale construction. Layered drapery systems, decorative lighting, floral installations, and prop styling were used to build a complete cinematic environment.

Production Design Analysis

The success of this project came from treating the location as a complete wedding ecosystem rather than a collection of decorated rooms.

Every design decision was evaluated through three lenses:

  • Storytelling Value
  • Cinematic Composition
  • Cultural Authenticity

This approach ensured that every frame felt believable while remaining visually rich enough for a premium advertising campaign.
