Campaign Note: Part of 5 wedding films created for the Vivo V60 Pro launch event
A culturally inspired wedding film for Vivo V60, rooted in the traditions of Manipur. The project captures ceremonial rituals, the Thabal Chongba dance, and a contemporary wedding reception through expressive production design and immersive spatial storytelling.
The production design for this film was developed to reflect the cultural richness and rhythmic energy of a traditional Manipur wedding. Visual elements were informed by local textures, movement patterns, and ceremonial detailing, allowing the Thabal Chongba sequence to become both a cultural anchor and a visual centerpiece.
Spaces were designed to support fluid choreography, collective celebration, and cinematic continuity, while the wedding reception introduced a modern contrast through controlled lighting and structured spatial layouts. The overall design language balanced authenticity with visual clarity, ensuring that tradition, performance, and emotion remained central to the narrative while supporting the brand’s cinematic storytelling approach.
Set elements, textures, and lighting were curated to support narrative flow while maintaining authenticity to each tradition. The challenge was not contrast alone, but cohesion—allowing both cultural identities to coexist within a single visual arc. Every space was designed to enhance emotion, movement, and camera rhythm, ensuring the production design supported both storytelling and brand intent without overpowering either.
